Are We Alone?

“If, in fact, we are able to find life or to answer the question 'Are we alone?' then that certainly is grand enough and noble enough to be the enduring legacy of our civilization.”~ NASA, October 1999

Flash forward to April 19, 2011...

I have discovered hard evidence that suggests we are not alone. Check out these new picture books:

Earth to Clunk by Pam Smallcomb
Illustrations by Joe Berger

What do you send your alien pen pal Clunk to make it clear you do not want an alien pen pal? You send him your big sister.

The Three Little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot
Written by Margaret McNamara

Illustrations by Mark Fearing

GREEP BOINK MEEP!

The three little aliens are happily settling into their new homes when the Big Bad Robot flies in to crack and smack and whack their houses down! A chase across the solar system follows in this out-of-this-world version of the classic Three Little Pigs tale.

Illustrations by Ben Cort

When little aliens fly down to Earth, they don’t come to visit because they want to meet the Earthlings. They simply want to steal everybody’s underpants!

Their spaceship’s radar bleeps and blinks
The moment that it sees
A washing line of underpants
All flapping in the breeze.

(And there's a 7" Aliens Love Underpants Doll too!)
